昆明學(xué)院經(jīng)濟(jì)管理學(xué)院成立于1984年(原昆明大學(xué)經(jīng)濟(jì)系)，2004年開辦昆明學(xué)院第一屆本科專業(yè)(國際經(jīng)濟(jì)與貿(mào)易專業(yè))。目前在校生2300余人，是昆明學(xué)院在校生最多的學(xué)院。除中國學(xué)生外還負(fù)責(zé)培養(yǎng)十余個(gè)國家70余名留學(xué)生，留學(xué)生采用全英文教學(xué)模式。2019年承擔(dān)昆明學(xué)院首屆創(chuàng)新人才(理科)基地班的人才培養(yǎng)工作。

學(xué)院現(xiàn)有國際經(jīng)濟(jì)與貿(mào)易、財(cái)務(wù)管理、會計(jì)學(xué)、工商管理、人力資源管理、物流管理、城市管理七個(gè)本科專業(yè)，財(cái)務(wù)管理專業(yè)2019入選云南省省級一流本科建設(shè)專業(yè)，國際經(jīng)濟(jì)與貿(mào)易專業(yè)2011年成為云南省本科特色專業(yè)，并獲批云南省專業(yè)群建設(shè)改革試點(diǎn)專業(yè)。2020年國際商務(wù)專業(yè)獲得教育部碩士學(xué)位授權(quán)，為昆明學(xué)院現(xiàn)有五個(gè)碩士點(diǎn)之一。

學(xué)院現(xiàn)有在職教師70人，其中教授、副教授占專任教師50%，博士、碩士占專任教師95%，學(xué)院教師來源于國內(nèi)“雙一流”高校并多人具有海外留學(xué)經(jīng)歷，三分之一以上教師具有美國注冊管理會計(jì)師、注冊國際商務(wù)師、高級會計(jì)師、高級經(jīng)濟(jì)師、投資理財(cái)規(guī)劃師等雙師型資質(zhì)。除在職教師外學(xué)院還聘有國內(nèi)一流高校長江學(xué)者、教授做客座教授，柔性引進(jìn)各行業(yè)專家做學(xué)生導(dǎo)師團(tuán)隊(duì)。有一支理論功底深，專業(yè)能力強(qiáng)，既潛心研究又具創(chuàng)新精神，對學(xué)生盡心盡責(zé)的教師隊(duì)伍。

學(xué)院近年共獲批國家、省市本科教學(xué)質(zhì)量工程20余項(xiàng)，榮獲“云南省高等學(xué)校教學(xué)管理先進(jìn)集體”稱號，建有 “西南跨境經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展研究院”校級科研平臺。近三年學(xué)院教師共獲得國家社科基金、教育部人文社科基金、云南省、昆明市哲社規(guī)劃重點(diǎn)課題、云南省科技聯(lián)合基金、昆明市智庫課題30余項(xiàng)，到賬基金上百萬元。

學(xué)院校內(nèi)教學(xué)設(shè)施先進(jìn)。建有云南省實(shí)驗(yàn)教學(xué)示范中心——經(jīng)濟(jì)管理實(shí)驗(yàn)教學(xué)示范中心，中心下設(shè)國際貿(mào)易綜合實(shí)驗(yàn)室、財(cái)務(wù)ERP模擬實(shí)驗(yàn)室、證券投資仿真模擬實(shí)驗(yàn)室、物流綜合實(shí)驗(yàn)室、金蝶ERP工商管理實(shí)驗(yàn)室、人力資源管理等13個(gè)專業(yè)實(shí)驗(yàn)室。建有云南省第一個(gè)跨境電商人才培訓(xùn)基地平臺(互聯(lián)網(wǎng)+云南跨境電商創(chuàng)新創(chuàng)業(yè)實(shí)驗(yàn)平臺)。2019年又獲得云南省虛擬仿真實(shí)驗(yàn)中心(云財(cái)務(wù)決策虛擬仿真實(shí)訓(xùn))立項(xiàng)。學(xué)院現(xiàn)有的教學(xué)設(shè)施及實(shí)驗(yàn)中心、平臺完全能夠滿足所有學(xué)生理論和實(shí)踐性教學(xué)需求。

學(xué)院校外培訓(xùn)基地充足。與國家統(tǒng)計(jì)局昆明調(diào)查隊(duì)、國有控股上市公司云內(nèi)動力集團(tuán)、沃爾瑪、阿里巴巴、上?！柏?cái)金通”教育公司簽訂戰(zhàn)略合作協(xié)議共同開展科研項(xiàng)目和人才培養(yǎng)基地建設(shè)。與京東西南公司、晨農(nóng)集團(tuán)、貴研鉑業(yè)等20余家企業(yè)合作建立學(xué)生實(shí)訓(xùn)實(shí)習(xí)基地。與美國、英國、新加坡、愛爾蘭、泰國等高校進(jìn)行學(xué)生互訪和研究生聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)。

學(xué)院秉承“克己精進(jìn)、篤行經(jīng)世”的院訓(xùn)，堅(jiān)持以人才培養(yǎng)為核心，統(tǒng)籌兼顧科學(xué)研究、文化傳承和社會服務(wù)的辦學(xué)理念，致力于培養(yǎng)品德優(yōu)、基礎(chǔ)實(shí)、上手快、后勁足的高素質(zhì)應(yīng)用型人才。近三年學(xué)生在全國大學(xué)生數(shù)學(xué)建模競賽、全國“挑戰(zhàn)杯”大學(xué)生科技節(jié)作品競賽、全國大學(xué)生“外研社杯”英語競賽、全國校園財(cái)會大賽、全國商科院校技能大賽、大學(xué)生模擬沙盤大賽等比賽中獲得國家、省級50余項(xiàng)獎項(xiàng)。畢業(yè)生就業(yè)前景好、行業(yè)廣、質(zhì)量高，就業(yè)率一直保持在98%以上，畢業(yè)生普遍受到用人單位的好評。

Introduction

Founded in 1984, School of Economics and Management (the original Economics Department of Kunming University) started recruiting undergraduate students of International Economics and Trade in 2004. With a student body of more than 2,300, the School stands as the largest one in Kunming University. More than 70 international students from over 10 different countries are currently enrolled in English-taught programs. The School has been dedicated in undertaking the task of cultivating the first batch of Innovative Talents (Science) Base Program of Kunming University since 2019.

School of Economics and Management offers 7 undergraduate majors, including International Economics and Trade, Financial Management, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Logistics Management, and Urban Management. Among the seven ones, Financial Management has been selected as the First-rate Undergraduate Program in Yunnan province in 2019, and International Economics and Trade has been approved as the Provincial Undergraduate Feature Specialty in 2011 and the Yunnan Provincial Specialty Group Construction Reform Pilot Major. With International Business authorized as a master’s degree program by the Ministry of Education in 2020, the School is also featured with one of the five master’s degree programs in the University.

School of Economics and Management now has 70 faculty members, among whom 50% are associate and full professors, 95% have master’s or doctoral degrees from top universities home and abroad, and one third are authorized as CMA, CPA, senior accountant, senior economist, CFP, etc. In addition, students are co-advised by Yangtze River scholars and guest professors from other top universities. The professional and dedicated faculty provides students with countless opportunities to research, create and innovate.

The School has been granted more than 20 national, provincial and municipal high-quality undergraduate teaching programs, and honored as the “Advanced Collective of Teaching Management in Colleges and Universities of Yunnan Province”. The School is facilitated with a university-level research platform “Southwest Cross-border Economic Development Research Institute”. In recent 3 years, the School has received funding of over 1 million Yuan from National Social Science Foundation of China, the Social Science Foundation of the Ministry of Education, Provincial Social Science and Philosophy Key Programs, Provincial Science and Technology Union Foundation, Kunming Think-tank Programs, etc.

The School is well facilitated with a provincial experimental teaching center “Economics and Management Experimental Teaching Center”, which includes 13 professional labs, for example, International Trade Comprehensive Lab, Financial ERP Simulation Lab, Security Investment Simulation Lab, Logistic Comprehensive Lab, Jindie ERP Business Administration Lab, Human Resource Management Lab, etc. The School also owns the first Cross-border Electric Commerce Training Platform in Yunnan province (Internet+ Yunnan Cross-border E-commerce Innovation and Entrepreneurship Experimental Platform). In 2019, the project Yunnan Virtual Simulation Experiment Center (Cloud Financial Decision-making Virtual Simulation Training) was officially approved. The current teaching facilities, experimental centers and platforms can fully meet the theoretical and practical teaching needs of all students.

The School has plenty of off-campus training bases. It has signed strategic cooperation agreements with Kunming Investigation Team of the National Bureau of Statistics, Yunnei Power Group (a national owned public listed company), Walmart, Alibaba and Shanghai Caijintong Education Company to jointly develop scientific research projects and build talent training bases. It also cooperates with more than 20 enterprises, such as Jingdong Southwest Company, Chennong Group and Sino-Platinum Metals Co., Ltd., to establish student training and practice bases. Student exchange programs and postgraduate joint cultivation programs have been explored with the universities of USA, UK, Singapore, Ireland, Thailand, etc.

By insisting on the School’s motto “Self-abdicating and striving for progress; Practicing earnestly and benevolently” and by adhering to its education philosophy, namely, taking talent training as the core, giving overall consideration to scientific research, cultural inheritance and social service, the School is committed to cultivating high-quality application-oriented talents with excellent moral character, solid foundation, quick skills and sufficient stamina. In the past three years, students have won more than 50 national and provincial awards in National Mathematical Modeling Contest, National “Challenge Cup” College Students Science and Technology Festival Works Competition, "FLTRP Cup" National English Competition, National Campus Finance and Accounting Contest, National Business College Skills Contest, College Students Simulation Sand Table Contest and other competitions. Students are offered widely by various kinds of industry with fulfilling jobs after graduating. The employment rate keeps as high as 98%, and employers keep speaking highly of the students.
