I. Profile of the Emergency and Trauma College

急診創(chuàng)傷學院是中國高等醫(yī)學院校中首創(chuàng)的以急救急診為特色的二級學院。學院以“急生命首診，創(chuàng)速度救傷”為院訓，以“和天神比愛心，與死神拼速度”為口號，旨在國家臨床重點?？疲痹\醫(yī)學科）的基礎上，融合多學科資源，以求在國際上形成一定知名度、打造在國內處于領先水平的急救與創(chuàng)傷一體化的醫(yī)學強勢品牌學科。

The Emergency and Trauma College is the first secondary college featuring emergency medicine in Chinese medical colleges and universities. Based on the state-level key clinical specialty (emergency medicine), the College?whose motto is?“Prioritizing Emergency Treatment, Curing Trauma Faster”?and whose slogan is?“Caring like An Angel, Racing against Death”?aims to integrate multidisciplinary resources to establish a leading brand that integrates emergency and trauma medicine in China with a high international reputation.

本科專業(yè)介紹：臨床醫(yī)學專業(yè)。我院就讀的臨床醫(yī)學專業(yè)本科生，在完成臨床醫(yī)學課程基礎上還額外增加了急診醫(yī)學、危重癥醫(yī)學、復蘇學、急性中毒治療學、院前急救與災難醫(yī)學、創(chuàng)傷醫(yī)學等急診醫(yī)學專業(yè)課。本科生畢業(yè)時取得臨床醫(yī)學專業(yè)畢業(yè)證、醫(yī)學學士學位證，同時還會頒發(fā)急診醫(yī)學模塊學習證明。

Undergraduate programs:?Clinical Medicine Program. For undergraduate students enrolled in the clinical medicine program at our college, professional emergency medicine courses such as emergency medicine, critical care medicine, resuscitation, acute poisoning therapeutics, pre-hospital care and disaster medicine, and trauma medicine are added to the clinical medicine curriculum. Undergraduates will obtain a diploma in clinical medicine and a certificate of bachelor's degree in medicine upon graduation, and will also be issued a certificate of study for the emergency medicine module.

師資力量：學院現(xiàn)有教職員工47人，碩士、博士占比79%，承擔學校各類學生的急救急診專業(yè)教學任務。2018年以來，主持省部級以上科研課題55項，其中國家自然科學基金18項，科研經(jīng)費達3100多萬元。編著專著18部，發(fā)表論文189篇（SCI收錄88篇），獲科研成果獎3項、專利15項。打造出獨具特色的、創(chuàng)新性的院前急救、急診、創(chuàng)傷、災難醫(yī)學教育體系。

Faculty:?The College currently has 47?faculty members, with 79% holding master's or doctoral degrees, and undertakes the teaching of emergency medicine for students of all types at the University. Since 2018, the College has presided over 55 scientific research projects at or above the provincial and ministerial levels, including 18 supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), with research funding of more than 31 million RMB. The College has compiled 18 monographs, published 189 papers (88 SCI-indexed), and won 3 research achievement awards and attained 15 patents. Thus, it has created a unique and innovative education system of pre-hospital care, emergency medicine, trauma and disaster medicine.

學術科研平臺：我院有1個國家級重點?？疲痹\醫(yī)學學科）、1家省級醫(yī)學中心（海南省急危重癥臨床醫(yī)學研究中心）、2個科研團隊（海南省創(chuàng)傷院士工作站、功能材料與分子影像研究PI團隊）、2大學術交流平臺（亞太國際急診論壇、全國急診年會）、3個國家級基地（國家緊急醫(yī)學救援隊（海南）、溺水中暑救護培訓基地、海上救援基地）、5個科研平臺（急救與創(chuàng)傷研究教育部重點實驗室、中國醫(yī)學科學院海島急救醫(yī)學創(chuàng)新單元、海南省創(chuàng)傷與災難救援研究重點實驗室、海南省生物材料與醫(yī)療器械工程研究中心、中醫(yī)藥急救研究所）、8個教研室、9所國際交流及合作大學（韓國梨花女子大學、英國巴斯大學、韓國中央大學、美國布朗大學、德國柏林工業(yè)大學、美國華盛頓州立大學、德國紐倫堡大學、加拿大多倫多大學、西安大略大學）。

Academic and scientific research platform:?The College has one national key specialty(Emergency?Medicine), one provincial medical center(Hainan Provincial Clinical Medical Research Center of Emergency and Critical Care), two research teams(Academician Workstation for Trauma in Hainan Province and PI Team for Functional Materials and Molecular Imaging Research),?two major academic exchange platforms(Asia-Pacific International Emergency?Forum and National Annual Conference on Emergency Medicine), three national bases(National Emergency Medical Team (Hainan), Drowning and Heat Stroke Rescue Training Base, Maritime Rescue Base), five research platforms(Key Laboratory of Emergency and Trauma of the Ministry of Education, Research Unit of Island Emergency Medicine, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Hainan Medical University,?Hainan Provincial Key Laboratory of Trauma and Disaster Rescue Research, Hainan Provincial Engineering, and Institute of TCM and Emergency Medicine), eight teaching and research departments, and nine universities for international exchange and cooperation(Ewha Woman's University, South Korea;?University of Bath, UK; Chung-Ang University, South Korea; Brown University, USA; Technische Universität Berlin, Germany; Washington State University, USA; Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany; University of Toronto, Canada; The University of Western Ontario, Canada).

學生情況：我院自2011年開始招生，截止目前已招收十一期學生，升學率、就業(yè)率名列全校前茅。現(xiàn)有在校生370人，包含本科生、碩士生、博士生；同時，還擁有博士后的招收培養(yǎng)平臺。2018年以來，在校本科生發(fā)表論文共17篇，以第一作者發(fā)表論文12篇；獲國家級獎項4項，省級獎項35項。

Students:?The College has been enrolling students for eleven terms since 2011, and the promotion rate and employment rate are among the top in the university. There are 370 students, including undergraduates, master students and doctoral students, and the College also has a platform for postdoctoral recruitment and training. Since 2018, undergraduate students have published a total of 17 papers, with 12 papers with first authorship; they have won 4 national awards and 35 provincial awards.

近期動向:按照學校黨委的決定，海南醫(yī)學院急診創(chuàng)傷學院與海南醫(yī)學院第一附屬醫(yī)院進行院院合一，旨在進一步加強學院與附屬醫(yī)院在臨床教學上的合作，同時為附屬醫(yī)院臨床科研提供重要的實驗條件和人員支撐，真正做到強手聯(lián)合。

Recent activities:?In accordance with the decision of?the Party?Committee of Hainan Medical University,?the Emergency?and Trauma College of Hainan Medical University has united with the First Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical?University,aiming to further strengthen the cooperation between the college and the affiliated hospital in clinical teaching?and provide essential experimental conditions and personnel support for the clinical research of the affiliated hospital,?which is indeed an aliance?of strong forces.
