微電子學(xué)院
應(yīng)時而生已不凡,勇立潮頭勢更堅。成立于2018年的微電子學(xué)院,是華南理工大學(xué)廣州國際校區(qū)首批建設(shè)學(xué)院,也是教育部首批國家示范性微電子學(xué)院(籌建)。新一代信息技術(shù)是世界發(fā)展的引擎,也是國際科技競爭的焦點。在集成電路領(lǐng)域形成創(chuàng)新能力和人才集聚優(yōu)勢,是國家的重大發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略。聚焦國家戰(zhàn)略布局,順應(yīng)行業(yè)技術(shù)需求,培育集成電路領(lǐng)域高端人才,帶著強烈的使命感,微電子學(xué)院應(yīng)運而生。2019年,微電子學(xué)院入選廣東省首批示范性產(chǎn)業(yè)學(xué)院。
海外英才多延攬,科研骨干齊云集。依托國際示范性微電子學(xué)院的師資力量,招攬海內(nèi)外優(yōu)秀人才,目前學(xué)院已匯聚了一支年輕化、國際化、高水平的教學(xué)及科研團(tuán)隊,包括中國科學(xué)院雙聘院士、高層次人才引進(jìn)計劃(多名來自Intel、MIT等國際集成電路頂級企業(yè)和高校)、國家杰青等眾多高層次人才。與此同時,學(xué)院圍繞集成電路產(chǎn)業(yè)鏈條,聘請龍頭企業(yè)的高端人才擔(dān)任學(xué)院兼職教授或客座教授,打造學(xué)術(shù)與工程兼?zhèn)涞膹姶髱熧Y。具有海外學(xué)習(xí)或工作經(jīng)歷人員比例為75%,具有資深集成電路設(shè)計經(jīng)驗人員比例為38%。學(xué)院學(xué)科專業(yè)分布多元,基礎(chǔ)與應(yīng)用研究齊全,形成涵蓋集成電路“設(shè)計-制造-封測-整機”的專業(yè)全鏈條。目前正聚焦寬帶通信芯片、計算和人工智能芯片、低功耗物聯(lián)網(wǎng)芯片、第三代半導(dǎo)體器件與芯片、半導(dǎo)體材料與器件、柔性電子等領(lǐng)域開展前瞻性應(yīng)用基礎(chǔ)研究和芯片研制,以及在通信、雷達(dá)、物聯(lián)網(wǎng)、人工智能、醫(yī)學(xué)健康等領(lǐng)域的應(yīng)用系統(tǒng)研究。
多管齊下重學(xué)研,致力創(chuàng)新育英才。學(xué)院實施科學(xué)的人才培養(yǎng)體制,注重專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)教學(xué),強化創(chuàng)新能力培養(yǎng),為學(xué)生打下堅實的微電子和集成電路等交叉學(xué)科知識體系。整合海內(nèi)外優(yōu)秀師資,邀請海外大師授課,提升學(xué)生國際視野。學(xué)院擁有國家集成電路人才培養(yǎng)基地、國家級人才培養(yǎng)模式創(chuàng)新實驗區(qū)、國家工程實踐教育中心、國家級實驗教學(xué)示范中心等教學(xué)實踐基地,為創(chuàng)新人才培養(yǎng)提供堅實的平臺保障。
地處粵港澳灣區(qū),學(xué)研產(chǎn)用優(yōu)勢顯。依托地處電子信息產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)達(dá)的粵港澳大灣區(qū)的優(yōu)勢,學(xué)院致力于與國內(nèi)龍頭企業(yè)和研究所共建聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)基地,在開展前沿學(xué)術(shù)研究的同時,深度對接企業(yè)需求,在集成電路領(lǐng)域開展核心關(guān)鍵技術(shù)研究并積極推進(jìn)技術(shù)轉(zhuǎn)化,實現(xiàn)“學(xué)研產(chǎn)用”的深度融合。同時,實行學(xué)企雙導(dǎo)師制,加強理論與應(yīng)用的綜合能力培養(yǎng),深度推進(jìn)“產(chǎn)-學(xué)-研”協(xié)同育人計劃。
學(xué)生培養(yǎng)效果顯著,優(yōu)秀人才供不應(yīng)求。學(xué)院本碩博專業(yè)學(xué)科齊備,本科招生專業(yè)為微電子科學(xué)與工程和集成電路設(shè)計與集成系統(tǒng)專業(yè),研究生招生專業(yè)為微電子學(xué)與固體電子學(xué)專業(yè)和電子信息專業(yè)。集成電路畢業(yè)生供不應(yīng)求,就業(yè)率100%,讀研、出國深造比例超過50%,在世界500強企業(yè)就業(yè)人數(shù)比例超過30%,畢業(yè)生普遍受到行業(yè)龍頭企業(yè)好評與重用。
The School of Microelectronics was established in 2018,?developed?from the major?“Semiconductor Materials and Devices”?with a history of more than 60 years. Being one of the earliest schools built in the Guangzhou International Campus of South China University of Technology, it has been selected as one of the first batch of National Demonstration School of Microelectronics (under construction) approved by the Ministry of Education?and?Demonstration Industrial Schools in Guangdong Province. The School of Microelectronics has developed an integrated cultivation system tailored for undergraduate, master and doctorate students.?With the development demand of electronic information technology in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the School has been carrying out prospective basic research for application and technological innovation in the fields of broadband communication chips, computing and artificial intelligence chips, low-power IoT chips, third-generation semiconductor devices and chips, low-dimensional materials and devices, flexible electronics?and its integration. It is also committed to cultivating high-quality talents with innovative and practical capabilities in the above fields. ?With?advanced?experimental equipment, the School provides superior?working environment?of simulation, processing, and testing for the teaching and research of semiconductor integrated circuits. It has established?several?national level teaching practice bases and centers, such as National Training Base of IC Talents, National Innovative Experiment Area of Talent Cultivation Mode, National Engineering Practice Education Center and National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center. It has developed a high-level faculty composed of advanced talents in basic and applied research of the entire chain of integrated circuits including design, manufacture, package, testing, and complete machine. The faculty involves double-appointed academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, overseas high-level talents, national outstanding youth, etc.. The School has set up two undergraduate majors including Microelectronics Science and Engineering and Integrated Circuit Design and Integrated Systems. It has established joint training bases with research institutes and leading enterprises in the field?of integrated circuits of?electronic?information?industry?in the Pearl River Delta, such as the Institute of Microelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, The Fifth Electronic Research Institute of MIIT (also known as CEPREI). The employment rate of graduates is 100%, the proportion of employment in the world's top 500 enterprises is more than 30%, and graduates hired by leading enterprises in the industry are highly valued.
