遼寧大學(xué)新華國(guó)際商學(xué)院是經(jīng)教育部批準(zhǔn)、由遼寧大學(xué)與英國(guó)德蒙福特大學(xué)（De Montfort University，簡(jiǎn)稱“德大”)合作、香港新華集團(tuán)支持的中外合作辦學(xué)機(jī)構(gòu)。學(xué)院的辦學(xué)目標(biāo)是培養(yǎng)英語能力出色、專業(yè)素質(zhì)過硬、熟悉國(guó)際規(guī)則、從事高級(jí)管理工作的國(guó)際化、復(fù)合型人才。學(xué)院于2004年開始招生，2007年7月，根據(jù)《教育部關(guān)于遼寧省中外合作辦學(xué)機(jī)構(gòu)和項(xiàng)目復(fù)核結(jié)果的通知》，通過了教育部的首次評(píng)估。2014年通過了英方每六年一次的評(píng)估，被認(rèn)定為辦學(xué)符合QAA標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的學(xué)院。2016年10月，學(xué)院再次通過教育部本科及以上層次中外合作辦學(xué)評(píng)估。2018年，在教育部本科教學(xué)工作審核評(píng)估中獲得專家好評(píng)。

英國(guó)德蒙福特大學(xué)在英國(guó)教學(xué)卓越框架TEF評(píng)選中名列前三名，獲得金獎(jiǎng)；其管理學(xué)、經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)專業(yè)在全英學(xué)生滿意度調(diào)查中排名第一，會(huì)計(jì)學(xué)專業(yè)全英排名第四。遼寧大學(xué)工商管理專業(yè)、市場(chǎng)營(yíng)銷專業(yè)是重點(diǎn)建設(shè)的國(guó)家級(jí)一流本科專業(yè)。按照機(jī)構(gòu)申報(bào)時(shí)的要求，遼寧大學(xué)與香港新華集團(tuán)開展合作，在北京、廣州、沈陽、香港、越南胡志明市等地設(shè)立了學(xué)生實(shí)習(xí)基地，并設(shè)有新華集團(tuán)蔡冠深獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金及赴國(guó)（境）外實(shí)習(xí)基金。

學(xué)院開設(shè)會(huì)計(jì)學(xué)、工商管理和市場(chǎng)營(yíng)銷三個(gè)本科專業(yè)；招收跨國(guó)公司管理和文化創(chuàng)意產(chǎn)業(yè)管理等學(xué)術(shù)型碩士研究生以及會(huì)計(jì)學(xué)專業(yè)碩士研究生。

新華國(guó)際商學(xué)院實(shí)施國(guó)際化人才培養(yǎng)項(xiàng)目、本科生導(dǎo)師制和朋輩導(dǎo)師制，為學(xué)生提供學(xué)業(yè)、思想及創(chuàng)新創(chuàng)業(yè)能力培養(yǎng)的支持與指導(dǎo)，保證學(xué)生的全面不斷進(jìn)步。

新華國(guó)際商學(xué)院在夯實(shí)本土化辦學(xué)的基礎(chǔ)上，引入德大優(yōu)質(zhì)教育資源，制定并不斷完善人才培養(yǎng)方案，優(yōu)化課程設(shè)置，將本土化和國(guó)際化有機(jī)結(jié)合起來。學(xué)院師資力量雄厚，專任教師全部具有國(guó)外留學(xué)、訪學(xué)經(jīng)歷和博士學(xué)位。

Sunwah International Business School of Liaoning University is a Sino-foreign cooperative school approved by the Ministry of Education, co-operated by Liaoning University and De Montfort University (UK), and supported by Hong Kong Sunwah Group. The goal of the college is to cultivate international and inter-disciplinary talents with excellent English ability, excellent professional quality, familiar with international rules and engaged in senior management. The college started enrolling students in 2004, and passed the Ministry of Education's first assessment in July 2007, according to the "Notice of the Ministry of Education on the Review Results of Chinese-foreign Co-operation School Running Institutions and Programmes in Liaoning Province". In 2014, it passed the British side's six-yearly assessment and was recognised as a college whose school running meets the QAA standard. In October 2016, the college again passed the Ministry of Education's Chinese-foreign Co-operation School Running in Undergraduate Levels and Above. In 2018, it was praised by experts in the Ministry of Education's audit assessment of undergraduate teaching work.

De Montfort University is ranked in the top three in the UK's Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) with a gold award. The majors of management and economics ranked first in the survey of student satisfaction in the UK, and the majors of accounting ranked fourth in the UK. The major of Business Management and Marketing in Liaoning University is a national first-class undergraduate program. According to the requirements of institutional application, Liaoning University has cooperated with Hong Kong Sunwah Group, set up student internship bases in Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenyang, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City and other places, and set up Sunwah Group CAI Guan Shen Scholarship and overseas internship fund.

The school offers three undergraduate programs: Accounting, Business Management and Marketing. It also offers academic master's degree candidates in multinational company management and cultural and creative industry management, as well as master's degree candidates in accounting. Sunwah International Business School implements international talent training program, undergraduate tutorial system and peer tutorial system to provide students with support and guidance in academic, ideological, innovative and entrepreneurial ability cultivation, so as to ensure students' all-round and continuous progress. On the basis of consolidating localization, Sunwah International Business School introduces high-quality education resources from De Montfort University, develops and continuously improves talent training programs, optimizes curriculum, and organically combines localization and internationalization. The faculty of the college is strong, and all the full-time teachers have overseas study, visiting experience and doctor's degree. There are currently more than 3,500 graduates from the college since its inception. Some students who choose to continue their studies after graduation are admitted to Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, University of Cambridge, University College London, Imperial University London and other well-known universities at home and abroad. Directly employed graduates are also favoured by well-known companies such as PWC, DTT, KPMG, EY, HSBC, IBM, BMW Brilliance, etc. for their excellent overall personal qualities.
