國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)政治學(xué)院是遼寧大學(xué)國(guó)家“雙一流”建設(shè)學(xué)科應(yīng)用經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)主要承建單位之一，是在繼承原國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)院、國(guó)際關(guān)系學(xué)院辦學(xué)優(yōu)勢(shì)和歷史沿革下于2020年6月更名成立的以培養(yǎng)擁有國(guó)際化視野人才為主要特色的學(xué)院。學(xué)院承擔(dān)國(guó)家“雙一流”建設(shè)學(xué)科應(yīng)用經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)的世界經(jīng)濟(jì)、國(guó)際貿(mào)易與東北亞合作方向建設(shè)。學(xué)院同時(shí)承擔(dān)理論經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)遼寧省一流學(xué)科的建設(shè)任務(wù)。學(xué)院世界經(jīng)濟(jì)專業(yè)為國(guó)家重點(diǎn)學(xué)科。

學(xué)院具有高水平的師資力量和學(xué)術(shù)隊(duì)伍。宋則行、金明善、馮舜華為本學(xué)科奠定了良好基礎(chǔ)，程偉、余淼杰為本學(xué)科國(guó)內(nèi)著名領(lǐng)軍領(lǐng)軍學(xué)者。學(xué)院擁有國(guó)家級(jí)榮譽(yù)稱號(hào)的高層次人才、國(guó)家社會(huì)科學(xué)基金重大項(xiàng)目首席專家、國(guó)務(wù)院特殊津貼獲得者等在內(nèi)的優(yōu)秀教師在學(xué)院任教。學(xué)院現(xiàn)有教職員工56人，其中專任教師41人，教授13名，副教授15名，博士生導(dǎo)師9名，富有活力的年輕專家多名，教師隊(duì)伍中有國(guó)家級(jí)人才。2017年、2022年，遼寧大學(xué)應(yīng)用經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)學(xué)科連續(xù)入選兩輪國(guó)家“雙一流”建設(shè)學(xué)科，為遼寧省屬高校唯一、東北地區(qū)經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)科唯一，國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)政治學(xué)院為主建單位之一。

學(xué)院現(xiàn)有國(guó)際政治系、世界經(jīng)濟(jì)系、數(shù)字經(jīng)濟(jì)系、韓國(guó)學(xué)系四個(gè)系和一個(gè)數(shù)字經(jīng)濟(jì)虛擬教研室。學(xué)院積極開(kāi)拓聯(lián)合辦學(xué)模式，先后與北京大學(xué)新結(jié)構(gòu)經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)研究院共建遼寧大學(xué)新結(jié)構(gòu)經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)研究中心，與商務(wù)部國(guó)際貿(mào)易經(jīng)濟(jì)合作研究院共建中國(guó)商務(wù)發(fā)展研究院（北京）；學(xué)院還擁有一批高端研究中心及智庫(kù)：設(shè)有遼寧大學(xué)澳門(mén)社會(huì)經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展研究中心、遼寧大學(xué)東北亞研究院、遼寧大學(xué)區(qū)域國(guó)別研究院、遼寧大學(xué)朝鮮·韓國(guó)研究中心、遼寧大學(xué)東亞研究中心等研究機(jī)構(gòu)；遼寧省世界經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)會(huì)秘書(shū)處駐院；并與海外學(xué)歷學(xué)者高端科研平臺(tái)——遼寧大學(xué)李安民經(jīng)濟(jì)研究院互為支撐。

學(xué)院辦學(xué)層次齊全，擁有從本科到博士的全部辦學(xué)層次。學(xué)院擁有國(guó)際政治、朝鮮語(yǔ)、數(shù)字經(jīng)濟(jì)、國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)與貿(mào)易（二學(xué)位）四個(gè)本科專業(yè)，其中國(guó)際政治專業(yè)于2021年獲批國(guó)家級(jí)一流本科專業(yè)建設(shè)點(diǎn)。擁有世界經(jīng)濟(jì)、轉(zhuǎn)軌經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)、新國(guó)際政治經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)、自由貿(mào)易區(qū)理論與實(shí)務(wù)、國(guó)際政治、國(guó)際關(guān)系、外交學(xué)、外交學(xué)等八個(gè)學(xué)術(shù)型碩士學(xué)位授權(quán)點(diǎn)和金融及國(guó)際商務(wù)兩個(gè)專業(yè)碩士學(xué)位授權(quán)點(diǎn)；學(xué)院擁有世界經(jīng)濟(jì)、轉(zhuǎn)軌經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)、比較政治經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)、新國(guó)際政治經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)四個(gè)博士專業(yè)授權(quán)點(diǎn)；學(xué)院還設(shè)有理論經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)博士后流動(dòng)站。

學(xué)院現(xiàn)有本科生在校生500人，碩士研究生500人，博士研究生40人。學(xué)院學(xué)生全國(guó)大學(xué)生英語(yǔ)競(jìng)賽、韓語(yǔ)大賽、“挑戰(zhàn)杯”競(jìng)賽、“互聯(lián)網(wǎng)+大學(xué)生創(chuàng)新創(chuàng)業(yè)大賽”和金融、國(guó)際商務(wù)等專業(yè)競(jìng)賽中等都取得了耀眼的成績(jī)。

學(xué)院積極開(kāi)展對(duì)外學(xué)術(shù)交流活動(dòng)。先后邀請(qǐng)國(guó)內(nèi)外知名學(xué)者來(lái)院講學(xué)；派出留學(xué)生和訪問(wèn)學(xué)者到美國(guó)、英國(guó)和歐洲國(guó)家學(xué)習(xí)進(jìn)修及講學(xué)，并與美國(guó)、俄羅斯、澳大利亞、日本、朝鮮、韓國(guó)等多所大學(xué)立了廣泛的院際交流關(guān)系。

建院以來(lái)，學(xué)院為國(guó)家培養(yǎng)了各層次及各類人才將近5000人。畢業(yè)生分布在各級(jí)黨政機(jī)關(guān)、經(jīng)濟(jì)管理部門(mén)、金融貿(mào)易部門(mén)、企事業(yè)單位、高等院校、部隊(duì)和科研院所，許多人已成為單位或部門(mén)的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)和業(yè)務(wù)骨干，為東北經(jīng)濟(jì)振興發(fā)展和實(shí)現(xiàn)中華民族偉大復(fù)興的中國(guó)夢(mèng)作出了重要的貢獻(xiàn)。

School of International Economics and International Relations is one of the main contractors of Applied Economics, a national "Double-First Class" construction discipline of Liaoning University. Inheriting the advantages and history of the former School of International Economics and School of International Relations, the School was renamed School of International Economics and International Relations in June 2020, aiming to build a School with the main feature of cultivating talents with an international perspective. The School undertakes the construction of World Economy, International Trade, and Northeast Asia cooperation in Applied Economics, a national "Double-First Class" construction discipline. The School also undertakes the construction of Theoretical Economics, a First-class discipline in Liaoning Province.? The Department of World Economy is a national key discipline. School of International Economics and International Relations has a highly qualified faculty and academic team. Song Zexing, Jin Mingshan, and Feng Shunhua have laid a good foundation for this discipline, and Cheng Wei and Yu Miaojie are famous domestic leading scholars in this discipline. The School has outstanding teachers, including high-level talents with national honorary titles, chief experts of major projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation, and special allowance recipients of the State Council. The School employs 56 faculty members, including 41 full-time teachers, 13 professors, 15 associate professors, 9 doctoral supervisors, and many young experts with enthusiasm for scientific research. There are a number of national talents in the faculty. In 2017 and 2022, Liaoning University is the only provincial university whose Applied Economics discipline has been selected for two consecutive rounds of national "Double-First Class" construction discipline and Northeast Economic discipline, and the School of International Economics and International Relations is one of the main contractors of this discipline. School of International Economics and International Relations consists of four departments: International Politics, World Economy, Digital Economy, and Korean Studies, as well as a virtual teaching and research office for Digital Economy. The School actively explores joint schooling model, co-establishing the Liaoning University Research Center for New Structural Economics with the Institute of New Structural Economics of Peking University and the China Institute of Business Development (Beijing) with Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation.The school hosts several high-end research centers and think tanks, including the Macau Socio-Economic Development Research Center of Liaoning University, the Northeast Asia Research Institute of Liaoning University, the Regional Country Studies Institute of Liaoning University, the Center for North and South Korean Studies of Liaoning University, the East Asia Research Center of Liaoning University, and other research institutions, as well as the secretariat of the Liaoning Association for World Economy in the School. It also maintains a mutually supportive relationship with the high-end research platform for overseas scholars, the Li Anmin Institute of Economics of Liaoning University. The School offers a complete range of educational levels, from undergraduate to doctoral programs. It has four undergraduate majors: International Politics, Korean Language, Digital Economy, and International Economics and Trade (Second Degree), of which International Politics was approved as a national First-class undergraduate major construction point in 2021; eight academic master's degree programs in World Economy, Transitional Economics, New International Political Economy, Free Trade Zone Theory and Practice, International Politics, International Relations, Diplomacy and Asian and African Languages and Literature, and two professional master's degree programs in Finance and International Business; four doctoral degree programs in World Economy, Transitional Economics, Comparative Political Economy and New International Political Economy; a postdoctoral station in Theoretical Economics. At present, School of International Economics and International Relations has 500 undergraduate students, 500 master students and 40 doctoral students. Students of the School have achieved outstanding results in the National English Competition for College Students, Korean Competition, National College Student Challenge Cup Competition, China College Students' 'Internet+' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and other professional competitions in Finance and International Business. The School actively engages in academic exchanges with foreign institutions. It has invited renowned domestic and international scholars to give lectures at the School. It also sends students and visiting scholars to the United States, the United Kingdom, and European countries for further studies and lectures. The School has established extensive intercollegiate exchange relationships with universities in the United States, Russia, Australia, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, and other countries. Since its establishment, the School has trained nearly 5,000 talents of various levels and types for the country. The graduates are distributed in party and government organs at all levels, economic management departments, financial and trade departments, enterprises and institutions, colleges and universities, troops and scientific research institutes, and many of them have become leaders and business backbones of their units or departments, making important contributions to the economic revitalization and development of Northeast China and the realization of the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
