遼寧大學(xué)哲學(xué)院前身是遼寧大學(xué)哲學(xué)系,在2000年4月11日更名為遼寧大學(xué)哲學(xué)與公共管理學(xué)院，2019年7月19日經(jīng)學(xué)校黨委常委會(huì)議研究決定，成立遼寧大學(xué)哲學(xué)院。

目前學(xué)院設(shè)有哲學(xué)系、蒲河學(xué)堂、東方哲學(xué)研究院、哲學(xué)基礎(chǔ)理論研究中心（遼寧省人文社會(huì)科學(xué)重點(diǎn)研究基地）、永惺佛學(xué)研究中心、國(guó)學(xué)教育研究中心、道教與中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)文化研究所。學(xué)院現(xiàn)有哲學(xué)一級(jí)學(xué)科博士學(xué)位授予權(quán)、哲學(xué)一級(jí)學(xué)科博士后流動(dòng)站、哲學(xué)一級(jí)學(xué)科碩士學(xué)位授予權(quán)。

學(xué)院現(xiàn)有教職工37人，其中教師28人，行政教輔人員9人。教師中，博士生導(dǎo)師7人，教授、副教授18人，92%教師具有博士學(xué)位或博士在讀。

學(xué)院設(shè)哲學(xué)1個(gè)本科專(zhuān)業(yè)。哲學(xué)專(zhuān)業(yè)是教育部本科特色專(zhuān)業(yè)、遼寧省本科示范性專(zhuān)業(yè)。哲學(xué)學(xué)科是遼寧省省級(jí)重點(diǎn)一級(jí)學(xué)科，并上升為特色學(xué)科建設(shè)層次。多年來(lái)，學(xué)院與美國(guó)、日本、韓國(guó)等國(guó)家的多所大學(xué)建立了友好交流關(guān)系。近幾年，學(xué)院畢業(yè)生主要分布在黨政機(jī)關(guān)、科研院所、企事業(yè)單位等。

Introduction to Philosophy School The predecessor of philosophy School of Liaoning University is the Department of philosophy of Liaoning University,renamed as the School of Philosophy and Public Administration of Liaoning University on April 11, 2000 and on July 19, 2019, the Standing Committee of the Party committee of Liaoning University decided to establish it as Philosophy School of Liaoning University. At present, the college has the Department of philosophy, Puhe Teaching Department, Research Institute of Oriental Philosophy,Basic Theory Research Center of Philosophy (the key research base of Humanities and Social Sciences in Liaoning Province), Yongxing Buddhist Research Center, Sinology Education Research Center, and Taoism and Chinese Traditional Culture Research Institute.At present, the college confers doctoral degree in philosophy, post doctoral mobile station in ?philosophy, and confers master's degree in philosophy. The college has 37 staff, including 28 full-time teachers and 9 administrative assistants. Among the full-time teachers, there are 7 doctoral supervisors, 18 professors and associate professors, and 92% of them have doctoral degrees or are studying for doctorates. The college has one undergraduate major in philosophy. Philosophy is a characteristic specialty of the Ministry of education and a model specialty of Liaoning Province. Philosophy is a provincial key discipline in Liaoning Province, and has been upgraded to the level of characteristic discipline construction. Over the years, the college has established friendly exchange relations with many universities in the United States, Japan, South Korea and other countries. In recent years, college graduates are mainly distributed in the party and government organs, scientific research institutions, enterprises and institutions.
