商務(wù)英語學(xué)院是2013年組建的一所旨在培養(yǎng)高層次復(fù)合型國際商務(wù)英語人才的應(yīng)用研究型學(xué)院。學(xué)院整合了四川外國語大學(xué)在外語與經(jīng)管法等學(xué)科多年形成的人才資源和教學(xué)科研優(yōu)勢，在創(chuàng)新人才培養(yǎng)模式和教學(xué)改革中處于全國一流水平。學(xué)院現(xiàn)為中國國際商會商業(yè)行業(yè)商會商務(wù)英語研究會副理事長單位，是重慶市商務(wù)英語研究會會長單位和秘書處單位。

辦學(xué)定位

學(xué)院秉承“精英融外，探商明道”的精神，堅(jiān)持特色辦學(xué)，融會中西文化，培養(yǎng)“厚基礎(chǔ)，寬口徑，重融合，強(qiáng)技能”，了解國際商務(wù)活動規(guī)則，具備較強(qiáng)的跨文化商務(wù)交際能力與較高的人文素養(yǎng)，能參與國際商務(wù)競爭與合作的應(yīng)用型、復(fù)合型商務(wù)英語專業(yè)人才。

學(xué)科專業(yè)

學(xué)院現(xiàn)有外國語言學(xué)及應(yīng)用語言學(xué)（商務(wù)英語研究方向）1個二級學(xué)科，商務(wù)英語專業(yè)、商務(wù)英語專業(yè)（中澳合作辦學(xué)）和商務(wù)英語+國際經(jīng)濟(jì)與貿(mào)易（雙學(xué)位）3個專業(yè)。2010年，商務(wù)英語專業(yè)正式招生；2013年，商務(wù)英語專業(yè)（中澳合作）正式招生；2015年開始招收碩士研究生。商務(wù)英語專業(yè)（中澳合作辦學(xué)）是學(xué)校唯一的獲得教育部正式批準(zhǔn)的中外合作辦學(xué)項(xiàng)目，為中澳兩所大學(xué)合作舉辦的國際商務(wù)專業(yè)跨學(xué)科雙專業(yè)雙學(xué)位項(xiàng)目。2019年為重慶市立項(xiàng)建設(shè)一流專業(yè)，2020年獲批為教育部雙萬計(jì)劃國家級“一流專業(yè)”建設(shè)點(diǎn)。

師資隊(duì)伍

學(xué)院現(xiàn)擁有一支學(xué)歷層次高、研究成果豐碩、教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)豐富的高素質(zhì)師資隊(duì)伍，現(xiàn)有專業(yè)教師66人，其中教授9人、副教授25人，博士23人（含在讀），外教4人。95%以上的專業(yè)教師具有海外學(xué)習(xí)背景。有二十多名老師長期擔(dān)任劍橋商務(wù)英語考試(BEC）考務(wù)官工作。此外，學(xué)院還長期聘請一批具有豐富教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)和商務(wù)實(shí)戰(zhàn)經(jīng)驗(yàn)的涉外企業(yè)界專業(yè)人士擔(dān)任學(xué)生社會商務(wù)實(shí)踐導(dǎo)師，注重教育國際化和英語語言與商務(wù)知識的融合。

人才培養(yǎng)

學(xué)院現(xiàn)有全日制在校學(xué)生1600余人。學(xué)院通過“價值引領(lǐng)”“多元協(xié)同”的教學(xué)實(shí)踐體系和“交叉融合”“多措并舉”的服務(wù)保障手段，形成了

“知識、能力、素質(zhì)”三維并重協(xié)調(diào)發(fā)展的創(chuàng)新型人才培養(yǎng)模式，人才培養(yǎng)質(zhì)量獲得社會認(rèn)可。學(xué)生因“英語基礎(chǔ)牢，綜合素質(zhì)高，創(chuàng)新意識好，具有較強(qiáng)的實(shí)踐動手能力和行業(yè)競爭能力”深受用人單位歡迎。多年來，畢業(yè)生就業(yè)呈現(xiàn)高層次、高質(zhì)量、高就業(yè)率的良好態(tài)勢。學(xué)院強(qiáng)化實(shí)踐育人，大力開展“二三課堂”活動，學(xué)生在全國商務(wù)英語實(shí)踐大賽、商業(yè)精英國際挑戰(zhàn)賽中國大陸賽區(qū)、全國高校商務(wù)英語知識競賽、中國校園戲劇節(jié)等學(xué)科專業(yè)競賽、文體活動中多次獲得優(yōu)異成績。

對外合作

近年來，學(xué)院不斷拓展國際合作交流項(xiàng)目，已與美國、英國、法國、澳大利亞等國家的多個大學(xué)建立了本科生交換生和合作辦學(xué)項(xiàng)目，國際化辦學(xué)優(yōu)勢和特色日益凸顯。積極拓展和推動校地、校企合作，充分發(fā)揮“外語+專業(yè)”人才培養(yǎng)優(yōu)勢，積極服務(wù)社會和地方經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展。

About the School

The School of Business Englishis is an applied research institution founded in 2013, with the aim of cultivating high-level composite talents with English proficiency and international business skills. The School is now holding the vice presidency of Committee for International Business English Studies of CCOIC Commercial Chamber of Commerce as well as the presidency and secretariat of Chongqing Business English Research Association. Adhering to the philosophy that “to integrate is elite,to explore wise”, the School steadfastly maintains its unique approach to education and promotes Eastern and Western cultural exchanges.It focuses on cultivating students with a solid foundation, a broad scope of knowledge, multi-discipline integration, and a set of strong skills, aiming to develop applied, multidisciplinary professionals in business English who are well-versed in international business practices, possess robust cross-cultural business communication capabilities and a high level of cultural literacy, and are equipped to engage in international business competition and cooperation. The School currently has one second-level discipline, Foreign Language and Applied Linguistics (Business English), and three majors including Business English, Business English (Sino-Australian cooperative program), and Business English and International Economics and Trade (dual degree program). The Business English major was approved as one of the provincial first-class programs by Chongqing Municipality in 2019 and one of the national first-class programs of the Double Ten Thousand Plan by the Ministry of Education in 2021. There are currently 66 teaching staff members in the School, including 9 professors, 25 associate professors, 23 PhDs (or PhD candidates), and 4 foreign teachers. Over 95% of the faculty members have a study abroad experience, and more than twenty have long served as examination officers for the Cambridge Business English Certificate exams. The School has over 1600 full-time students. With a teaching practice system that stresses value orientation and diverse collaboration and an approach to service guarantee which features interdisciplinary integration and multiple measures, the School has developed an innovative talent cultivation model that emphasizes the coordinated development of knowledge, ability, and quality, and its talent training quality has been highly recognized by society. For many years, the employment of our graduates has shown a positive trend with high levels, high quality, and high employment rates.The School emphasizes practical education and actively engages in a wide range of extracurricular activities. Our students have achieved plenty of excellent results in professional competitions such as the National Business English Practice Contest, the CGMA Global Business Challenge, and the National Contest for College Business English. Entering a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, the School prioritizes moral development through education as its core mission. Committed to cultivating national first-class majors and concentrating on the quality of talent development, it is actively deepening educational and teaching reforms and enhancing its contributions to society.
