溫州大學(xué)國際教育學(xué)院（原國際合作學(xué)院）成立于2006年，以“得天下英才而育之，培養(yǎng)世界溫州通；融溫大英才于全球，賦能溫州通世界”為辦學(xué)宗旨，主動(dòng)對接國家“一帶一路”倡儀，服務(wù)溫州“千年商港——幸福溫州”建設(shè)，發(fā)揮優(yōu)勢學(xué)科國際化的力量，打造“留學(xué)溫大”品牌，培養(yǎng)知華、友華、愛華的世界優(yōu)秀青年人才，提升溫州大學(xué)的國際影響力，服務(wù)國家新時(shí)代教育對外開放戰(zhàn)略，服務(wù)構(gòu)建人類命運(yùn)共同體。

現(xiàn)有教職工30人，專任教師中博士占72%，有海外學(xué)習(xí)工作經(jīng)歷的教師占56%。招收來自美國、意大利、荷蘭、日本、韓國、泰國、俄羅斯、加納、尼日利亞、津巴布韋等近89個(gè)國家的國際學(xué)生，畢業(yè)生遍布五大洲，國際生留溫就業(yè)、創(chuàng)業(yè)人數(shù)不斷攀升。

學(xué)院設(shè)有漢語國際教育專碩點(diǎn)，培養(yǎng)具備熟練的漢語作為第二語言教學(xué)技能，并具備熟練的線上、線下、線上與線下混合式教學(xué)能力的漢語國際教師，且學(xué)院積極搭建海內(nèi)外實(shí)踐基地，目前已與全國近10所高校、機(jī)構(gòu)、公司簽訂合作協(xié)議。學(xué)院作為國務(wù)院僑辦首批華文教育基地，從事華裔青少年教育、海外華文學(xué)校校長培訓(xùn)、海外華文教師培訓(xùn)等，華文教育培訓(xùn)成為品牌項(xiàng)目，同時(shí)這些實(shí)踐平臺為學(xué)生強(qiáng)化學(xué)以致用的能力、開闊視野，理解多元文化充分助力。

學(xué)院設(shè)有國際學(xué)生商務(wù)漢語專業(yè)、與泰國東方大學(xué)合作舉辦“3+1”漢語言文學(xué)專業(yè)本科學(xué)歷教育項(xiàng)目、與泰國納瑞宣大學(xué)合作舉辦雙學(xué)位本科學(xué)歷教育與漢語國際教育專業(yè)碩士學(xué)位聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)項(xiàng)目、與意大利錫耶納大學(xué)合作舉辦“2+2”雙學(xué)位本科學(xué)歷教學(xué)項(xiàng)目；積極對接教育部中外語言交流合作中心，承接漢語橋、國際中文教育創(chuàng)新項(xiàng)目、華文教師培訓(xùn)等項(xiàng)目，形成了政府項(xiàng)目、國際合作為著力點(diǎn)的，高質(zhì)量、內(nèi)涵式發(fā)展模式。

WZU’s College of International Education (previously “College of International Cooperation”) was established in 2006 and adopts an education philosophy of “Amazing WZUers: Bring the World to Wenzhou, Bridge Wenzhou with the World”. WZU’s College of International Education (“CIE” for short) actively follows the national “Belt and Road” initiative and earnestly promotes the municipal brand of “Wenzhou, a Millennial Port & Happy City”.

By tapping on the potentials of internationalizing advantageous disciplines to build a shiny “Study@WZU” brand name, we strive to cultivate outstanding young international talents who are informed of, friendly to and affectionate towards China, enhance WZU’s international profile, serve China’s education opening up strategy in the new era, and serve the building of a global community with a shared future. Currently we have 30 faculty and staff members; among the faculty 72% hold doctoral degrees and 56% have overseas education experience. We have students from 89 countries including USA, Italy, Netherlands, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Russia, Ghana, Nigeria, and Zimbabwe. Our graduates are employed globally, with those working or starting up businesses in Wenzhou increasing steadily. CIE offers a professional degree program in Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (MTCSOL) to cultivate international Chinese language teachers proficient in teaching Chinese as a second language and effective in teaching online, offline, and in a blended manner. We’ve also taken initiatives in developing practice bases home and abroad, with agreements signed with 10 universities and enterprises. Among the first batch of Chinese language education bases authorized by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, CIE is engaged in educating overseas Chinese youth, training principals and instructors for overseas Chinese schools, with a proud track record over the years.

CIE has also developed dual-degree programs with international counterparts such as Burapha University, Naresuan University (Thailand), and Siena University (Italy) in the form of 3+1, 2+2 in undergraduate program of Chinese language and literature, and 1+1.5 in MTCSOL. In addition, we have also actively undertaken programs sponsored by Center for Language Education and Cooperation such as “Chinese Bridge” online camp, International Chinese Language Education Innovation Program, Chinese Language Teachers scholarship program, etc.
